Mid Weight Industrial Designer
Neuti graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 2018 and has since gained experience working as a designer across graphics, furniture and industrial projects. As a freelancer, she has designed and developed her own range of furniture pieces made from sustainable waste timbers recovered from landfill. Since starting at Vert, Neuti has worked on a diverse range of projects including packaging for bottles, musical accessories and other consumer facing products.
Neuti is inspired by seeing and connecting with objects, people and things within nature. She aspires to create everyday products that are aesthetically beautiful and highly functional, as well as enhance a person’s quality of life. She believes that one of the most important aspects that designers should be responsible for is producing good quality products and beautiful things that last the test of time, and embed sustainability throughout all stages of its life cycle.
Neuti’s approach to design is unique and playful, minimal and honest. She loves the research and ideation phases of the project as it informs the creative concepts she can explore, test and iterate through the hands-on approach of modeling and prototyping. Neuti enjoys the tactile process of playing with foams and shapes to improve the overall user experience. These forms she creates are often fluid and organic by nature. She draws on inspirations from designers from the past 50-60 years including Charles and Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Kwok Hio Chan, Mun Seungji and Gerald Summers.
