Mid Weight Industrial Designer
Eloise joined Vert Design in early 2022 after graduating from the University of Technology Sydney with an Honours in Product Design in 2018. Proceeding her thesis, in 2019 Eloise was awarded the Design Institute Australia’s Product Design NSW/ACT Graduate of the Year. Eloise brings enthusiasm in understanding the unique needs of every project, assisting in initial project briefings in order to map out a customised design process to best support the client, their needs and those they’re designing for. She foresees projects from beginning to end, specialising in communicating with the client along the way, educating them on the relevant design processes, as well as offering her knowledge of diverse user research. Eloise draws on her experience as an inclusive designer where she has collaborated with marginalised community groups and exercised human-centered design methodologies and design thinking practices to improve accessibility for all people. She strives to advocate the benefits of designing for everyone and desires to embed inclusion and accessibility into all her projects. Eloise believes design creates an opportunity to make people's lives easier and to solve complex needs. She loves the challenges that come with building a product in CAD software, with a strong background in 3D printing, she harnesses this process for rapid prototyping to test ideas, as well as investigating its potential for small and large scale manufacturing. Eloise’s design approach aims to improve sustainability practices across the various stages of a product or system’s life cycle, defining where the biggest impact can be achieved.
